Tweet Meet Recap

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for our October Tweet Meet last night! We had a lot of fun talking all things creative home dec, plus giving away a few door prizes – congrats to the winners, @StacySews and @LooneRmewifenma!
Some of the highlights from last night’s chat:

@courtney_kyle Q2: I LOVE mixing old with new–I love thrifting as much as I love a trip to ikea.

@punkprojects we starched fabric to the walls. It comes off without messing anything up, so it’s great for rentals/apts.

@SCCmagQ4: I think working against a tight budget has made me more creative. In our little old house it’s all about creative storage! ^sem

@StacySews Q4: I’ve done lots of ‘accessory’ sewing – pillows, throws, etc. It’s so much more ‘me’ plus it’s a ton less expensive.

@LooneRmewifenma I have chalkboard frames in the kitchen, den, livingroom and our bedroom! so handy!

@jessmullins79 Q7: As I’m not a great seamstress yet, I’m in love w/ steam-n-seam. Made my own funky window treatments using it.

@jessmullins79@SCCmag The best place to look for “practice” lamps is a Habitat restore! Killer deals & if it’s not great in the end, no $ wasted!
