Sorry, but this giveaway is now closed! Thanks to all who entered and congratulations to winners Annelies, Cindy Farmer and RetroSandie!
The long awaited day has finally arrived! The Summer 2012 issue of Stitch Craft Create is now available for sale, and you will begin seeing it appear this week on newsstands at local craft, hobby and bookstores nationwide. (You can also find it online right here!)

We simply can’t contain our excitement at the release of our second issue. With the success of our premiere Christmas 2011 edition (and the fun we had putting it together), our staff was beyond thrilled to hear that we would have the opportunity to produce a followup publication. We’ve been hard at work for the last several months, and hope that you enjoy reading it as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you!

Be prepared for a burst of bright, juicy colors, as our team and fantastic contributors have carefully crafted the entire issue around a vibrant color palette to make you smile from the cover through the very last page. Inside, you will:

  • Learn from and read profiles on inspiring industry professionals including Jennifer Paganelli, Ruth Clemens, Princess Lasertron, Amy Powers and more;
  • Get the scoop on crafting techniques in a variety of crafting genres from sewing, quilting and yarn crafts to paper, repurposing ideas and mixed media;
  • Explore unique project tutorials for home décor, seasonal entertaining, DIY fashion accessories and gifts plus ideas for organizing your creative space;
  • And above all, ignite the creative passion within yourself to celebrate an unforgettably creative summer season!

And now for the exciting part: enter to win a copy!

  1. I’d love to see more feltprojects…but also scrapbooking relatend subjects would be love….or beading…or fabric….I am not that difficult, I love a lot of different things!

  2. Would love to see beautiful crafts done with repurposed items….like Target pill bottles! I haven’t been able to come up with something for those & I have so many of them! unusual shape, sturdy, red (lots of holidays!).

  3. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the Christmas edition. I was so excited to see a Summer issue. I too love the quick projects, and I love that you tell where to buy the items used. I would love to see ornament ideas, teacher gift ideas in a Christmas edition.

  4. I would love to see unique items that we don’t normally see in all the magazines. The woven pocket that you had in the last issue was one of these items. I used it for the fiber arts section of my art class. One of my students used brads to attach his pocket to the cover of his art journal. It was a big hit!

  5. The colors in this issue just draw me in! I love them. I’d like to see more ideas for dressing up plain t shirts to go with simple girls’ skirts. My girls seem a little big for pillowcase dresses now and I’m looking for ways to tie their plain shirts in with the skirts I make from cute quilt prints. Either applique ideas, flowers, buttons, etc.

  6. I’m a teacher and school is out in 3 weeks! I am so looking forward to sewing time! My baby girls are (almost) grown now, so I want to sew simple little colorful dresses for the next door baby girls.

  7. This magazine looks fantastic! I would love to see lots of crochet and embroidery, and just all kinds of needlework. I love the different projects and I love projects with buttons and beads!
